The Role:

The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the technical underpinnings of the CRM (Salesforce) and related toolset. Responsible for configuring and maintaining the technical architecture and design of the system, workflows, custom objects, integrations, and plug-ins. Works to evolve the system to continue to provide operational efficiency and value through technology.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintains and customizes Sales Cloud and Sales Cloud applications, including CPQ.
  • Creates, manages, and maintains custom fields, custom objects, page layouts, etc.
  • Creates and maintains operational workflows to provide an efficient and seamless selling experience.
  • Develops custom scripts and/or works with outside consulting resources to implement custom functionality.
  • Configures and manages interfaces between internal systems, e.g., Salesforce, Asana, TeamWork, Totango, HubSpot,, ZoomInfo, NetSuite, etc.
  • Creates and maintains the tools, systems, and mechanisms required to gain visibility into sales performance.
  • Reviews and governs data accuracy within Salesforce to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Supports and provides ongoing training to sales, customer success, and other teams within the business.

The Desired Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in end-to-end technical Salesforce deployments and associated business tools.
  • Salesforce experience includes configuration of complex Flows, Alerts and Actions, and Approval Workflow.
  • Salesforce end-to-end implementation experience including installing managed packages.
  • Salesforce integration experience between different business systems as well as working with integration tools.
  • Salesforce CPQ configuration and ongoing management experience required.
  • Proficiency in programming using Salesforce SFDC,, Java, JavaScript, and XML and their use in the development of CRM solutions.
  • Ability to review workload, set priorities, and manage time to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to multiple stakeholders including executive leadership.
  • Ability to influence leaders and employees across multiple business units.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and allocate resources to changing priorities.
  • Any other duties requested by manager.
