Medical Information Coordinator-Pharmacy Tech

Pharmacy Technician or other certified healthcare professional provides comprehensive administrative support to Medical Information and Product Complaint teams.

Primary job function includes:

  • Call center intake and triage of adverse events, product complaints and medical information cases

Essential job functions include:

  • Case entry of electronic correspondence into multiple databases
  • Quality assurance review of product quality complaint cases
  • Communicate with clients and send manual alerts as applicable for quality complaint cases
  • Place outbound follow up calls to complete product quality complaint reports and to collect additional information as requested by the client
  • Create letters in response to product quality complaints and medical information questions as directed by the client
  • Process USP, FedEx, and DHL mailers to collect product quality complaint samples
  • Run and develop client specific monthly reports as applicable
  • Other duties as assigned


Educational Requirements

  • Required: Pharmacy technician or other certified healthcare professional
  • Required: Current MN License/certification appropriate with degree or equivalent from another state or country

Experience Requirements

  • Required: Current license/certification with 2 years of experience in related field of expertise
  • Required: Computer data entry experience
  • Preferred: Call center experience
  • Preferred: Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
