Assembly Technician

We are currently seeking an Assembly Technician who will be an experienced team member responsible for successful implementation, administration, and support of the engineering and manufacturing software applications used by ProNova Solutions in the mission to design, manufacture and deliver the next generation of cancer therapy technology.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the high precision assembly and basic testing of complex assemblies for electromechanical components.

  • Adheres to ISO-13485 and FDA GMP standards, MPIs, test protocols and corporate policies and procedures

  • Accurately records manufacturing process and test data

  • Successfully contributes to manufacturing team’s performance in achieving quality, cost and delivery objectives

  • Maintains safe and clean work environment which conforms to established 6S guidelines

  • Actively participants in Continuous Improvement events to improve processes and product quality

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience within a manufacturing environment

  • Demonstrated familiarity and usage of common hand tools, inspection gauges and basic test equipment or stations

  • Good hand-eye coordination with demonstrated excellent manual dexterity for precision assembly and alignment

  • Ability to read and comprehend basic manufacturing and engineering documentation (drawings, schematics, blueprints)

  • A meticulous, detailed-oriented, quality-conscious team player with a positive attitude who embraces change

  • Ability to focus for long periods of time

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time

  • Ability to lift 20 lbs.

  • High School Diploma

  • The following are preferred qualifications:

  • Soldering experience (IPC certification)

  • Experience within Continuous Improvement work environments with working knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma

  • Experience with high-precision electro-mechanical assembly manufacturing, e.g. magnet (coil winding, assembly and testing), electronics and/or medical device manufacturing

  • Associates Degree in Engineering
