Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Mechanic / Engineer, you will be a key player in the success of our highly automated facility.

Preventative maintenance schedule is key to any maintenance teams’ success and the foundation on which this team will thrive. This role will require a diverse skill set to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues. In this role, you are serving as the point of contact for all building and equipment issues as they arise.

Skills required for this position: ·

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and wiring diagrams ·
• Understanding of PLC’s
• Installation and troubleshooting of I/O modules, photo eyes, motor starters, VFD’s, servo drives, timers, and encoders ·
• Wiring 3 phase 480V equipment Simple carpentry work as necessary Basic troubleshooting of HVAC equipment Experience welding mild and stainless steel Conveyor (rolling equipment) Pumping systems (water Fresh & dirty) Other skills that would be beneficial: ·
• Experience running gas/water/air lines ·
• Understanding of industrial washers ·
• High Speed moving parts Additional requirements:
• Experience with safety procedures on Powered equipment (propane fork trucks)
• The ability to lift, bend, stand and walk 8 to 10 hours a day
