Financial Planner & Analysis Manager

Pro Resources Staffing is seeking a Financial Planner for one of our customers, located in Upland, IN.

This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with competitive pay and benefits - Target pay is $95k (depending on experience)

General Description – Purpose of Role:

This position is responsible for leading financial planning and analysis tasks, helping the company to leverage data and make sound business decisions based upon that data. This includes but is not limited to leading the annual budget process, monthly financial statement analysis, cash forecasting, calculating cost allocations, M&A support, and adhoc analysis. Some of these tasks will be performed as an individual contributor, while others will involve working with controllers and other staff at each of the Avis subsidiary companies.

Position Responsibilities:

REGULARLY SCHEDULED TASKS (Approximately 50% of the role)

1. Lead and coordinate
   1. Weekly projections
   2. Weekly and monthly cash forecasts
   3. Monthly financial statement analysis, including MD&A
   4. Quarterly board meeting presentations
   5. Annual budget process
   6. Annual corporate charge refresh to subsidiaries
2. Calculate cost allocations for healthcare and property & casualty insurance
3. Track and report commodity costs on a regular basis (frequency TBD)

ADHOC ANALYSIS (Approximately 30% of the role)

1. Assist with presentations as needed, including but not limited to the annual managers meeting and the annual controller’s meeting
2. Lead and coordinate capital expenditure ROI validation process
3. Support bank inquiries and analysis
4. Complete various government surveys, such as Census surveys
5. Support subsidiaries as needed with general analysis
6. Perform adhoc analysis as needs arise

M&A SUPPORT (Approximately 20% of the role)

1. Assist with general due diligence
2. Assist with post-acquisition financial modeling and proforma projections (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
3. Assist with integration

Experience, Qualifications, Skills, Abilities:

1. 5+ years of experience in FP&A or similar financial role
2. Experience with multi-site manufacturing organization
3. Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling
4. Ability to take complex issues and summarize them into a simple summary
5. M&A experience is a plus
6. Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with ability to use Microsoft products (emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint); experience with MRP systems and data warehouse queries
7. Superior interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities
8. Demonstrated ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization
9. Effective planning and priority setting; ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines
10. Strong financial, analytical, and organizational skills, inquisitive, detail-oriented, resourceful
11. Ability to act with professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality

Education:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science or related field required
