Good, because we’re seeking a growth minded Real Estate Assistant with an emphasis in construction management and listing project management who’s up for any challenge. Who You Are:
Real Estate Industry Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience working as a real estate listing coordinator, project manager, or as an assistant to a high volume residential real estate flipping team or another dynamic industry led by a busy entrepreneur. It is preferred that you hold a CA real estate license or you are willing to obtain one upon hire.
Tech-Savvy: You have the aptitude to learn new programs quickly and are able to troubleshoot common issues. Expert in CRM programs and skilled in systems such as Google Suite, Zipforms, Docusign, MLS, etc.
SUPER Organized with Perfectionist Tendencies: You have the ability to create order out of chaos and lead by example. You work in a structured, orderly way and you hold others accountable to do the same. You want things to be done the right way, according to established procedures, however, you don’t let your need for perfection slow you down and you always work with a strong sense of urgency and an eye on meeting deadlines.
Customer-focused: You know people. You know how to effectively communicate with clients, both verbally and in written form. You are solutions-oriented and can “Keep Calm and Carry On” when interrupted multiple times a day, or with shifting priorities. You are great at empathizing with others and are skilled at building quality relationships.
The ULTIMATE Team Player: You are not looking at this opportunity as a stepping stone to becoming a sales agent. You know that your strengths are in a supportive role and value the concept of “Together Everyone Achieves More”. You are able to work 40 hours per week plus evening/weekend flexibility.
A Day in the Life
On any given day, you will be expected to act as the lead project manager for upcoming listings. This includes visiting listing sites and helping sellers navigate various remodeling or construction projects prior to bringing the home to the market. You will manage the on-site property prep progress, and meet and manage project deadlines. You will assist in obtaining bids on behalf of the seller, providing updates and accurate timelines for each step in the process. You will coordinate with the listing manager and the transaction coordinator once the project is completed. And, you will be responsible for light expense tracking, as well as creating and implementing systems and processes to ensure nothing slips through the cracks. Growth in this position is unlimited!
In the past, you might have…
• 1+ yrs of experience as a Project Manager, assisting a residential team focused on flipping property, or as an Administrative Assistant within the real estate or another dynamic industry
• An Active CA Real Estate License is preferred but not required. You are willing and able to get one upon hire.
We’re also looking for mastery of the following:
• MS Office Suite with a focus on Excel
• Google Suite of Services
• CRM programs

Salary: $50k-$60k commensurate with experience, plus bonus (A successful candidate in this position will have the opportunity to earn up to $70k)

Location: Santa Monica, CA. You live within a 30-minute commute of Santa Monica. You have daily access to a personal vehicle that you can drive for work-related tasks. You have a driver’s license and you carry insurance.
