Pro Innovation Inc. is a direct vendor for State of Washington agencies. We are locally based company working with state agencies for last 10 years. We are looking for a VMware Virtual Infrastructure Administrator for one of our government client.

Location: Olympia, WA (70 Miles south of Seattle)

Pro Innovation Inc. is a direct vendor for State of Washington agencies. We are locally based company working with state agencies for last 10 years. We are looking for a VMware Virtual Infrastructure and Windows Server Administrator for one of our government client.

The VMware consultant has full responsibility for client s VMware vSphere computer environment which includes the following environments:

LNIX (child-domain of client) Data Center located in the co-locate area at the State Data Center
and WADS Data Centers including multiple vCenters, 30+ ESXi physical host servers, and all of the virtual networking. Responsible for configuring, monitoring and maintaining ESXi physical host server hardware and the computer environment statewide.

Working experienec with VMware NSX. Someone who understands the components of NSX. NSX Manager, Network Insight, vRealize, Identity Manager, NSX Distributed Firewall, vSphere/vCenter.

Windows Server and Linux Server Appliance Administrator for the LNI computer environment.
These servers comprise the agencies applications, databases, data storage, networking, and domain infrastructure within the LNI statewide computer environment
Planning, coordinating, implementing new technologies, testing, installing, building, configuring, upgrading, and deploying physical and virtual servers statewide
Identifies and solves complex issues within the statewide computer environment
Works with agency business groups, agency IT groups, agency contractors, external agencies and 3rd party vendors.

Plan, engineer, coordinate, test, install, build, configure and deploy Windows servers in both the physical and virtual environment, including hardware and software upgrades.
Builds core network systems, such as Domain Controllers, Global Catalogs, DNS, DFS, DHCP, File and Print, to meet required standards and integrates these systems within the L&I Network Infrastructure.

Resolves complex installation or upgrade problems independently or working with Network Operations staff or core team developers as needed.

Provide backup administration for Network Operation services such as Citrix remote access, VPN remote access, virus protection on servers, SharePoint, VEEAM and backup and restores, STARS, and Printer support..
