Job Title: Energetic Group Facilitator
Company: Adolescent Drug and Alcohol Addiction Treatment Center
Description: Our drug and alcohol addiction treatment center is looking for an effervescent and exciting Group Facilitator to run a variety of groups. Our clientele ranges from 13-17. Group Facilitators are responsible for engaging clients in conversations that will help them through recovery; processing information revealed during group sessions is absolutely critical.
Understanding the critical difference of biological age and emotional/psychological intelligence is absolutely essential to this role. This position requires an energetic, interesting, and engaging personality to keep clients readily immersed in the life topics covered. The Group Facilitator should be able to elicit meaningful responses from group members, and help them reflect and process information.
Some topics in our life skills program include: family roles, social skills, anger management, talking to one’s family about addiction, college preparation, vocational skills, rebuilding one’s life after addiction, recognizing harmful behaviors, having healthy relationships, and many others.

Local Candidates Please
Experience: 2 Years Experience in Addiction Field or Counseling
Education: Master’s degree in a Human Services field (Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy)
Schedule: Saturday-Wednesday (around 30 hours)
