Urgent Hiring for RN, LPN and CNA in West Orange, NJ

PRIORITY CARE STAFFING is looking for Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) who can start ASAP in West Orange, NJ!

REGISTERED NURSE

• Responsible for the total care of the residents by initiating treatment plans and administering medicine and nursing care bedside skills.
• Prepares IVs, draws blood, gives injections, dressing wound care such as tracheal ostomy care, colostomy care, and bed sore.
• Checking vital signs,monitor and record observations on patients' conditions and medical information.
• Reevaluate patient care plan as conditions change.
• Consult and coordinate with other healthcare team members.
• Direct or supervise less experienced nursing staff, LPN and CNA

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE

• Monitor patient’s vitals and record them in their file
• Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of each patient, including bathing, feeding and dressing
• Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication
• Update patient records in a confidential manner
• Evaluate the patient’s wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff
• Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families
• Change dressings and bandages, ensuring patients are healing properly
• Move patients from wheelchairs, beds and gurneys

CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANTS

• Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility
• Preparing each patient room with necessary items like blankets, pillows, medical equipment and bathroom needs
• Helping patients eat and take medications
• Making sure they have regular meals and proper medication dosages
• Monitoring vitals and patient behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff
• Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed
• Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores or other discomfort
• Exercising patients by helping them walk
