Sr. Product Line Manager, Service Provider and Mobile Networking products is responsible for product strategy, product roadmap and lead cross functional teams to develop and launch new products. Sr. PLM has Worldwide P&L responsibility.

Leading Tier 1 service providers across the world have partnered with NETGEAR to launch 5G Mobile Hotspots & 5G and Advanced LTE Routers to provide Internet connectivity for homes and on-the-go. NETGEAR continues to invest in these technologies to grow market and NETGEAR market share in this category.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop product strategy and product roadmap for consumer centric Mobile product line targeted for service
  • providers worldwide
  • Explore synergic market to grow service provider business
  • Work with service provider sales teams worldwide to gather regional ISP requirement and incorporate these
  • requirements to define short term and long term product roadmap
  • Write product requirement document and collaborate with engineering to define optimum product
  • architecture to balance product cost and performance
  • Drive new product development with cross functional team and provide regular status updates to sales and
  • executive management
  • Manage service provider product portfolio in terms of – pricing, forecasting, demand/supply management
  • Define, differentiate and constantly reviews feature sets of the entire product line and individual products
  • active in product life cycle
  • Strong focus on defining differentiating software applications with focus on usability to help increase
  • customer engagement
  • Assess needs and opportunities for new products through market and customer research including focus
  • groups, in store surveys, in home customer surveys, online surveys
  • Monitor revenue, margins, and sell-through and initiates actions to achieve life cycle volumes and margins,
  • and directs transition and EOL actions. Actively engages with the sales organizations & review online feedback
  • to understand market acceptance, develop sales plans, and understand feature/performance enhancements
  • needed to maintain the product in the market over time
  • Direct the preparation of collateral (Data Sheets, Web Content, Reviewer Guides, Press Releases, Product
  • Packaging) for a successful handover and launch with Marketing Communications and Sales.
  • Drive accurate targeting of product unit and revenue forecasts
  • Participates and drives Business Development, Training, and Industry Events activities worldwide for his/her
  • responsible products
  • Takes the role as internal expert as well as external spokesperson and evangelist for NETGEAR on the product
  • line’s products and technology

Special Required Skills or Training:

  • A leader who can provide a vision for this product line to develop a differentiated product line and continue
  • our leadership that can generate revenues of +$100M
  • Independent and critical thinker who can work with the team to develop innovative, customer friendly
  • products and applications
  • 10+ work experience in Cellular technology and service provider product management role
  • Proven track record of launching consumer networking products with leading service provider
  • Strong understanding of 4G LTE and 5G Cellular technologies and Service Provider requirements
  • Good understanding of WiFi Wireless Networking and IoT markets
  • Experience in software applications and app development targeted for the home consumer
  • Experience working directly with engineering to specify & develop products
  • Strong understanding of and/or experience of consumer trends to help translate into products and drive
  • improved product usability
  • Ability to clearly articulate, influence & gain support for project vision
  • Ability to analyze market and technology trends and assess the optimal course of action for profitability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work well with people at all technical levels
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to focus internal resources, coordinate R&D and sales force and all functional
  • departments, and coordinate business partners
  • BS Electrical Engineer or Computer Science required. MBA or related masters degree required
