What you'll do

In this position, you'll lead an inbound contact center team to acquire, service, grow and retain profitable business through effective talent management, process improvement, workflow, metrics, business literacy and financial accountabilities.
Additional responsibilities may include:
+ Assist with development and execution of tasks within the strategic and operational plans for the department. Monitor results to ensure the plan meets organizational objectives, aligning resources to maximize their potential and drive initiatives.
+ Facilitate continuous performance and process efficiency improvement through identification, action planning and execution. Ensure accurate metrics are in place to monitor the performance of the team and revise as needed to improve results.
+ Lead and develop team members, including hiring, training, talent management, compensation administration, rewards and recognition, performance management, coaching and mentoring. Take appropriate and timely disciplinary action. Provide ongoing team member business literacy, skill and competency development and motivation, facilitating learning with the team.
+ May assist with creation of the divisional budget. Lead team to meet/ exceed goals within budget.
+ Partner with other departments in resolving, clarifying and responding to complex questions. Represent the business area in meetings, presentations, planning and/or projects.
+ Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 8 years' experience.
+ 4+ years of relevant experience including leadership experience.
+ Excellent customer service, analytical, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills as well as basic presentation skills.
+ Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel.
+ Outstanding interpersonal, organizational and negotiation skills.
+ Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
+ Preferred formal leadership experience in a call center or production environment.
+ Preferred previous experience within the insurance or financial services industry.
