Job: Project Scheduling Coordinator- Commercial Décor & Construction

The Project Scheduling Coordinator is the gatekeeper for all projects. They own the master schedule and maintains communication between all internal employees and external partners to ensure smooth delivery, install and closing out projects. The Project Schedule Coordinator is highly organized and is able to communicate efficiently as a Customer Service Champion.

Essential Functions of Project Scheduling Coordinator:

  • Schedule installers and manage project schedules from order, delivery, installation, QA/QC and closing out on all projects from small to large complex jobs
  • Build and maintain relationships with installers and managing the installer labor pools
  • Generate installer work orders in computer software application
  • Coordinate with purchaser to ensure a timely delivery of materials
  • Mediate, remedy and resolve any potential issues
  • Schedule installers and manage project schedules from order, delivery, installation, QA/QC and closing out on all projects from small to large complex jobs
  • Build and maintain relationships with installers and managing the installer labor pools
  • Generate installer work orders in computer software application
  • Coordinate with purchaser to ensure a timely delivery of materials
  • Work with Project Managers, installers and onsite management team through the length of the project
  • Conducts and manages customer satisfaction post-installation
  • Understanding and communicating product lead times in relation to install timeframes

Skills & Abilities of Project Scheduling Coordinator:

  • Action-oriented, self-directed, pro-active
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs on occasion
  • Dependable and organized

Qualifications of Project Scheduling Coordinator:

  • 5+ years in similar professional role
  • Experience working in construction or with a second tier subcontractor
  • Experience working with vendors and directly with clients
  • Experience in logistics scheduling (preferred)
  • Bilingual Spanish (preferred)
