Business Development Officer | Recruiter
Salary | $50,000 plus bonuses
We’re looking for someone with high energy and passion for hiring the best of the best to one of the most recognized name brands in our industry. In this role, you will develop and implement a quick scaling recruiting strategy, recruit and onboard sales agents, analyze data and influence change, contribute to the retention strategy and development of the sales force and effectively communicate and promote our company story and brand.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Find candidates: Utilize programs (job fairs, schools, social media posts and other recruiting grounds) and direct sourcing tactics to attract qualified candidates with skills and behaviors that we want to be successful with us.
Evaluate talent and hire: We’ll need you to interview candidates, assess whether they’re in-line with our values, and discover what makes them tick. Oversee new agent initial on-boarding process of signing agreement and hand-off to trainer.
Manage the pipeline: You’ll need to be proactive about keeping things organized, militant about tracking, and reliable on follow-through.
Business Analysis: Be the talent adviser to our leaders. Use data to influence change, map effective selection processes and recruitment plans, then execute consistently by generating monthly and quarterly statistical reports and tracking of recruitment/retention numbers.
Develop and Retain: Help support sales force as needed while contributing to our growth/retention strategy.
What you will bring to the table:
Experience: 2+ years as a recruiter with a history of exceptional results OR direct experience of quickly scaling a successful sales force
Smarts: You communicate and write well and you can explain/measure what you’ve done, pitch new ideas, and can build the case for change.
Strategist: Whether working on a tough niche position or planning for big picture recruiting needs, you have built and executed successful recruiting strategies through an analytical and data backed process.
Tech-chops: You use technology to stay organized and on top of your work and are meticulous about tracking.
Wicked at sourcing: you’re a sleuth at finding out where the talent lives and aren’t afraid to cold-call. You have experience building and connecting with a network of professionals.
High Influence: You make friends everywhere you go, and you’ve got a knack for getting even the most evasive candidates to talk to you. You’ve got 500+ LinkedIn connections and almost as many Facebook friends while being outgoing and optimistic.
Sales-person: you know how to sell an opportunity to your audience in a direct and confident manner. You pride yourself on delivering legendary candidate and customer experiences and go the distance to find success through hard work.

Option to work remote 2 days a week after a probationary period (company reserves the right to modify this option at any time pending needs of company)
