JOB SUMMARY
This role is a key role on our Leadership Team. You will be responsible for developing and championing a human capital management strategy by creating a culture of engaged and valued team members.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on "roll up your sleeves" leader tasked to build the Human Resources function in a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, private equity-backed organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Oversee the full life cycle of employee engagement, including hiring and onboarding,
performance assessment, succession planning, and offboarding across multiple locations (in
different states).
•Design and implement employee engagement strategies and initiatives to strengthen culture -
including leading internal employee communications with a focus on creating a sense of
belonging and pride.
•Design and oversee an approach to learning and development, including leadership and
management practices that align with the organization's objectives and goals.
•Oversee the organization's national compensation and benefits policies and practices.
•Develop and lead human resources planning and talent acquisition and development
strategy in support of the organization's strategic plan.
•Identify key performance indicators and create a dashboard for human resources and talent
management: assess the organizations success and market competitiveness based on these
metrics.
•Establish valued-added partnerships to enhance employee experience technology, recruiter
networks, etc. with an eye toward agility and future growth.
•Ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, EHS, and other laws, regulations and
requirements.
•Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations and best practices in employment law, human
resources, and talent management.
•Draft and implement the organization's staffing budget and the budget for the HR department.
•Advise management on legal implications of HR related issues.

Requirements
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required.
- 10+ years of experience in a management role required.
- Human resources certification such as PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Proven project management experience - ability to work backwards from a desired outcome to develop a clear work plan, forecast, and manage risk.
- Knowledge of organizational methods and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
