Position Title: CAN - Settlements Officer
# of positions: 1
Pay Rate: $22

Duration: 1 year

Will they be working a rotational schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm, 9am- 5pm, 10am-6pm (what is assigned, on a rotational basis)
Location: Street Northwest - 5th floor Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
Training: In person, 100% onsite for training 9-5pm – 3-4 months

Office Location: Street Northwest Edmonton Alberta (onsite)

CANDIDATE PROFILE DETAILS:

Job Description:

Provide a broad range of operational support and performs general to specialized transactions and/or other processing activities for own Operations and Business Services function. May contribute to analysis/reporting on critical projects or special initiatives that strengthen our operating model/processes and elevate service quality.
Investigate and escalate non-standard or high-risk activities as appropriate
Adhere to enterprise frameworks and methodologies that relate to operations activities for own area (e.g. Anti-Money Laundering, Business Continuity Management)
Be knowledgeable of and comply with Bank Code of Conduct

Must haves

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Microsoft office experience, Proficient in Excel, word and PowerPoint
2 + Admin experience
Time management skills
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
Adaptable and willing to learn
Tech savvy – able to pick up on internal systems and quick leaner
Understanding of risk compliance
Punctual and reliable
Organized and hardworking

Nice to haves

Previous experience in the banking industry
Flexible to work
Experience working with SOPs

Education/Experience: high school required. College diploma preferred. 2+ years Admin background
