PrimCorp, LLC is seeking to fill a full-time position for a Jr. Contracts Support Specialist to support the Network Contracting Office-22 Gilbert (NCO-22G). The position requires a clear understanding of “cradle-to-grave” federal acquisition functions including pre-award functions, post-award functions, price & cost analysis, preparation of award documents and supporting documentation, contract administration, business data collection, developing data driven metrics, applying analytical techniques in development of system reports and databases and other related non-inherently governmental functions.
THE CANDIDATE WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING DUTIES:
Assist in pre-solicitation documentation to include the solicitation, solicit, prepare pre-award documentation to include contract award/task order, advise, close out, and assist with awards for the procurement of supplies and services while complying with FAR/VAAR & VHA guidance.
Assist with research, analyze, and review all applicable policies, guidance, and regulations to support the customer and the Government Contracting Officer in their decision-making.
Assist in providing procurement assistance to the customer as requested.
Support acquisition team as needed on price, cost, and/or financial related matters throughout the development of sourcing strategies and throughout the solicitation, evaluation, negotiation, and award of contractual actions for supplies and services.
Assist in providing cost and price analysis recommendations as requested regarding independent government estimates.
Assist with acquisition strategy planning, requirements review and Performance Work Statement (PWS)/Statement of Work (SOW) development in collaboration with customers, market research to support strategy and justifications, source selection support, synopsis and solicitation development, preparing mandatory contract file documentation, contract management and administration.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
Minimum of (2+) years of relevant and recent federal acquisition/contracting experience
Strong organizational management skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks, contracting management experience in supporting the day-to-day operations of a high-visibility Contracting office
Capable of using MS Office tools to prepare documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
Excellent communication skills (writing, speaking, and listening)
Proactive attitude that allows them the flexibility to adapt and adjust as necessary to meet short suspense’s and changing mission requirements
Self-starter able to manage tasks with little or no supervision
Bachelor’s Degree with 24hrs in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management (Desired)
