Administrative Assistant - Warehouse

Shift/Hours: 5AM-3:30PM, SUN-WED or WED-SAT
Pay Rate: $16.00/hr
Location: 85043, Phoenix, AZ/Contact Pridestaff-Glendale

Job Description Summary:

The position is accountable for providing general administrative support to the Warehouse Order Processing Planner, Department Supervisor and Area Manager. The incumbent will perform data entry activities, preparing customer orders, print note cards, pre-pack orders, batch orders, verify and report material shortages and assist in other administrative support functions. Must be able to lift 35lbs.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provides general support to the Order Processing Planner.
  • Performs stock adjustments in warehouse management system and report any adjustments to the Order Processing Planner or Department Manager.
  • Evaluate and print orders, batch and prepare picklist for daily production and shipping activities.
  • Monitors and coordinates material transfer between locations.
  • Flag and report any abnormal material transfers to the Order Processing Planner or Department Manager.
  • Perform department audit as assigned by the Order Processing Planner to ensure product receipt, inventory, returns, put-away, matches the warehouse management system.
  • Support the Control Desk, Priority Desk and High-volume Production line with note card printing.
  • Assists with other daily shipping schedule demands as required or assigned by the Order Processing Planner.
  • Handwrite and proofread note cards as required to support daily customer order activities.
  • Carry out other activities and responsibilities as required or directed by the Order Processing Planner.
  • Work directly with the Control Desk, Priority Desk and High-volume Production work cells to ensure the order processing spreadsheet is updated daily.
