Sales Coordinator

A rapidly growing technology company based in Laguna Niguel is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support their sales team. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity, with pay starting at up to $25/hour. The hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Sales Coordinator Responsibilities

• Work directly with new and existing customers and our sales directors to prepare quotations, answer product questions, send order acknowledgments, provide order status, and shipping confirmations.
• Take ownership of new orders by conducting contract review, doing order entry in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system, working with Engineering to set up new part numbers, and resolving any discrepancies between the quote and the order.
• Work with the Operations team to assign ship dates to orders and communicate these with customers as part of the company's weekly open order updates to customers.
• Handle customer issues as they arise and work with the rest of the team to resolve them quickly and efficiently.

Sales Coordinator Qualifications:

• 5+ years of customer service experience for complex technical products preferred.
• Documented experience with MRP Systems, Fishbowl experience preferred.
• Proficiency with a computer and with office software (Windows, Word, Excel).
• BS or BA degree is a plus!
