Job Description

Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction is critical to Powerbrace Corporation. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, this position requires an individual / teammate that has a customer-centric focus while supporting customer service, marketing, and sales activities. The ideal candidate is proactive and organized with strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships both internally and externally. The ability to address and support current and potential customer needs with a professional and friendly approach is critical.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate directly with customers and prospects
  • Receive and process customer orders in an accurate and timely manner
  • Respond to customer inquiries and/or change requests professionally and knowledgably
  • Initiate contact internally and externally to covey and/or verify information and needs
  • Understand company processes, procedures, and capabilities as well as impacts to them
  • Recommend and support process / product improvements and developments
  • Upload / maintain appropriate documentation
  • Prepare monthly performance measurements for internal reporting
  • Develop and maintain social media presence (primarily LinkedIn)
  • Ensure our company website, Powerbrace.com, is up-to-date and user-friendly
  • Support marketing efforts (collateral materials, direct marketing, spiffs, customer gifts, etc.)

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in business, marketing, or related field with a minimum of 3 years customer service (ideally in industrial or transportation-related offerings). Candidates with equivalent experience to an associate’s degree and work history will be considered.
  • Prioritizing and addressing competing demands
  • Strong communication skills (written, phone, virtual / digital, and in-person) with technical and non-technical individuals
  • Trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
  • Average to Intermediate-level experience with an ERP system, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), LinkedIn, and WordPress
  • Working both independently and within a team
  • Reading and understanding engineering specifications and drawings (preferred)
  • Knowledge of door securement products and applications (preferred)
