WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Our Design & Custom Heating Engineer is the creative mind behind our custom temperature control solutions for our clients. Being hands-on, you work collectively with our sales team to gather drawings, models, specifications, and/or verbal instruction from customers in order to prepare preliminary designs. Then, you accurately complete mechanical, electrical and thermal calculations to determine the feasibility of design requests and estimate costs. When everything lines up, you are ready to begin production!
As production gets going, you ensure that quality system procedures, industry standards, safety regulations, and standard engineering policies and practices are followed. Additionally, you provide ample support for project management and manufacturing by helping resolve all technical issues. And, because of your innate ability to interpret customer specifications, accurately perform calculations, and compile other related engineering documents, you help keep our projects running on time and within budget. - Knowledge and understanding of electrical, mechanical, and thermal designs
- Can understand and generate mechanical drawings
- Completed BS Degree - Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 3D modeling skills
- Computer skills in MS Office Suite
- Professional experience in a Designer/Engineer role in a manufacturing environment for 0-2 years
Ability to operate and troubleshoot design software, such as Solidworks is a plus!
