Job Description

Provair Filtration Group is hiring for an experience Customer Service Representative.  The position serves customers by supporting and coordinating the activities of the Customer Service and Sales teams. Helps the team meet monthly key performance objectives by entering orders, editing orders, updating customer documentation, providing intercompany transaction analysis, etc. This is an important customer-facing role that involves teamwork, close interaction with customers, and strong organization skills.


  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction, go the extra mile
  • Build strong relationships of trust with both internal and external customers through open and interactive communication each stage of the process, inquires, orders, delivery appointments and complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Receive and enter Purchase Orders/Blanket Purchase Orders into SYSPRO system within 24 hrs. of receipt, verify pricing/quotes/product description
  • Update schedules and status in Customer Purchase Order Review system/Acknowledgements
  • Assist customers with product specifications and selection
  • Provide and follow up on product quotations
  • Handle complaints in a professional manner, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Expedite order tracking through manufacturing system as needed to support the customer
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents, setup new accounts
  • Follow communication procedures, guide lines and policies
  • Go the extra mile to engage customers
  • Liaison between quality and customers for RMA’s
  • Process credit card payments as needed
  • Check customer portals as needed, retrieve new and revised purchase orders
  • Work with engineering related to drawing changes
  • Communicating with appropriate team members with customer score cards
  • Self-directed learning associated with your line of work
  • Answer telephones in a timely manner and direct calls to the appropriate associates
  • Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Training Required


  • Strong social & communication skills both verbal and written 
  • Solid computer literacy
  • High level of emotional intelligence, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Enthusiasm, motivation, and a have a real passion for their work
  • 3 Years Customer Service experience
