Portland Patrol Inc. is seeking trustworthy and reliable individuals for unarmed security positions in the Portland Metro area.
WHO WE ARE
Portland Patrol Inc. is not an ordinary private security company. Our company was founded and is owned by a retired Portland Police Bureau commanding officer and many of our security officers are former/retired police officers who still have a desire to serve the community.
PPI has been providing security patrols in Portland’s downtown Business Improvement District since 1997. Our partnership with the Portland Business Alliance (Downtown Clean & Safe) and the Portland Police Bureau is a unique program aimed at livability complaints and problems on the downtown sidewalks and public spaces. PPI helps businesses and citizens with problems like trespassing, panhandling, street level drinking, drug use and littering, etc.
Our company is founded on the principals of integrity, honesty, and public trust. We take great pride in our employees and the work they do each day to make Portland such a phenomenal place to live, work and visit. We are excited about the possibility of having you on our team.
WHY PORTLAND PATROL INC.
Our officers gain valuable experience in areas like conflict resolution, leadership, communication, and teamwork. Whether you are working towards a career in law enforcement, retiring from a career in law enforcement, or simply interested in gaining experience in public safety, we are confident that a role at PPI would be a rewarding and engaging opportunity.
For unarmed officers we offer a competitive starting wage of $14.01 and raising to $15.15 after the first year. PPI is proud to offer opportunities for health benefits for full-time employees, a HOP transit pass, and a variety of other benefits.
