Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

As the head of the company's FP&A activities, the Financial Business Analyst / Sr. Financial Business Analyst / Manager of FP&A (title and compensation based on credentials & experience) will be responsible for providing financial and operational analytical support to the CFO, CEO, Controller, and Management team. This will include monthly financial analysis and presentation of actual results and forecast. In addition, this position will help develop and analyze operational improvements, budgetary control and utilization, working capital and cash flow performance, and strategic plans/investments. RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop & manage, analyze and present analytical reports (KPIs, Metrics, Executive Dashboards) used formanagement decision making

Analyze financial data and prepare projections based on findings

Create & manage analytical models used for forecasting, trend analysis, operational analysis etc. identifying trendsto project future performance and areas for improvement

Ensure timely and accurate reporting and integrity of financial data

Assemble accurate weekly, monthly and annual business reports and forecasts working in partnership with functionalleaders and financial management. Includes consolidation, review and analysis of financial and operational data, summarizing and communicating results.

Assist with monthly close and annual audits

Understand, identify and present risks and opportunities related Sales, EBITA and Cash Flow

Develop and coordinate consolidated financial and operational reviews for use by management

Detect and analyze potential budget/cost problem areas and opportunities for improvement

Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives

Assist company management in the development and preparation of budgets and forecast for Board approval

Special projects as needed to support financial management and improve process efficiency and performance

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; Advanced degree a plus

Minimum 4+ years of experience as a financial analyst (or various accounting and/or finance roles) includingdevelopment of metrics/KPIs/Executive Dashboards, competitive analysis, trend analysis, financial statementanalysis, presentations, and ad hoc reports

High intellect, natural curiosity, ability to not only learn fast, but apply prior knowledge/experience.

Solid experience making process improvements and recommendations for improvements

Ability to find areas for cost savings and/or increased productivity

Strong analytical experience and aptitude

Advanced to Expert Excel including pivot tables, v-lookups, sumifs, concatenate, etc.

Ability to work with multiple databases to extract data needed for reporting and analysis

Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and presentation skills
