Overview of the Role

We’re looking for an Enterprise Accounts Director to join our Growth Team - working with enterprise accounts primarily in North America. You will be responsible for both renewals and successful expansion with Pointr’s Fortune 100 customers. You’ll work closely with customers to listen and match Pointr’s solutions to their needs, build relationships throughout the organization, and ultimately drive ARR retention and expansion through a strategy that you define and execute based on customer needs.

The ideal candidate has a proven record of success in enterprise account management. 


The role includes the following:

  • Be responsible for account strategy and day-to-day ownership of key enterprise accounts, primarily in North America. 
  • Manage productive customer engagement, secure renewals, develop upsell opportunities, and close expansion business
  • Work closely with the technical project management team to ensure client objectives are met and value is delivered via our product
  • Present Pointr’s value proposition and use cases to varied audiences, ranging from executives to technical folks
  • Learn about Pointr’s Deep Location Platform™ and be comfortable performing demonstrations
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners (like Marketing, Finance, Sales Ops) on initiatives that support enterprise growth



The ideal candidate should have:

  • 5+ years in account management with enterprise clients, driving both renewal and expansion for software SaaS products
  • A passion for the smart buildings ecosystem
  • Technical consulting experience is a plus
  • A strong communicator with polished and professional presentation skills
  • A self-starter, adaptable and quick learner
  • A passion for the future of retail technology
  • Experience demonstrating the value of software solutions and justifying the expansion
  • Experience preparing renewal proposals, forecasting, and account planning
  • Experience with enterprise sales contract negotiation, legal and procurement processes
  • Experience with selling and implementing enterprise retail store technologies preferred

Compensation: base $110k plus %5-8 commissions plus stock options
