Job Description

Our client is looking for an energetic job-seeker for a Customer Care Representative position local to Philadelphia, PA! As the Customer Care Representative, you will be responsible for supporting customers and clients. This temporary-to-hire role offers $19/HR!

HYBRID SCHEDULE: Remote - Must be able to commute to Philadelphia, PA 1 day a week.

Responsibilities of the Customer Care Representative include:

  • Handling customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Providing information on in-force products to Agents, Policyholders and Employees.
  • Communicating contract language in terms callers will understand.
  • Resolving a wide variety of problems with customers.
  • Providing clear and concise information on problems.
  • Maintaining a log of incoming calls from customers and field personnel.
  • Following through to ensure that problems and requests are handled satisfactorily.
  • Following up on telephone inquiries.
  • Communicating with Policyholders and Agents on policy changes.
  • Completing specific projects relating to policies.
  • Assisting other departments in handling customer service problems.
  • Understanding the process for address and correspondent changes

Requirements of the Customer Care Representative Include:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in high volume service environment.
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent. Relevant Associates Degree highly preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of Group Administration, Individual Administration and be familiar with basic claim processing.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Excellent telephone etiquette, excellent communication skills and handle customer complaints and problems in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Ability to work remotely near Philadelphia
