About The Role:

Candidates will come with a minimum of 5-year experience as a Customer Sales Support Representative or equivalent job role in the youth/amateur sports or technology market or another sales organization preferably in the employee benefits field. This role will be reporting to the Vice President & Head of Employee Benefits Brokerage and will be based in our Dallas, Texas office.

You will be responsible for assisting the Vice President & Head of Employee Benefits Brokerage in daily service needs of prospects, clients, and decision makers. At times, will be working with VP & Head of Employee Benefits Brokerage to create reports and download needed files to execute business strategy.  Role comes with a salary, benefits commensurate with the experience.

You will join an organization going through significant growth as well as digital transformation. You will need to Instill a mindset of ownership and accountability with all managers and team members. You may be required to assist in numerous tasks as defined in the company “playbook” to help drive and meet the companies vision and strategy for growth.

Responsibilities (are inclusive of but not limited to):

  • Decision making authority and autonomy to develop relationships with clients and leads that results in profitability for the business.
  • Comfortable speaking directly with clients to help resolve issues and respond in a timely manner.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and document task and work inside the software.
  • Build professional relationships with sports administrators to help them identify meaningful ways to improve the benefit portfolio for their organization and athletes.
  • Manage accounts through HubSpot and/ or Veruna, a Salesforce Platform (our CRM system) and create client accounts, tracking sales process, assigning tasks, and manage data entry.
  • Leverage Players Health technology and leadership to implement the best employee benefits program for your customers.
  • Own, manage and develop positive relationship with key clients and prospects as well as internal cross departmental coworkers.
  • Manage and document the full sales cycle and work as a team member with sales representatives from across the organization.
  • The skills to manage multiple projects with little direction while multi-tasking daily responsibilities in a fast-paced start up environment.
  • Continue to gain advanced product and market knowledge to differentiate yourself and Players Health as both a technical and business fit.
  • Some travel (where/when safe) might be required.
  • Liaise with the product development and marketing teams to ideate and create strategic sales assets inclusive of value prop, sales decks, proposal and RFP templates.

Minimum Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in an account manager, sales professional or client facing role with progressively complex responsibilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with little direction handling complex client interactions
  • Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Tremendous organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail is critical
  • Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information

Desired Characteristics:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Veruna, Salesforce and Ease, a plus
  • Superb time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
