The social media expert will work with our marketing team to connect with our community, drive growth, and contribute to the planning and execution of marketing campaigns. This person will be no stranger to current social trends and be passionate and creative in terms of strategy. The right person will have experience driving social strategy, building an audience, and have a passion for creating content as part of a small, dynamic team. The Social Media Manager will lead our social media efforts across our channels, most notably Instagram and Tik Tok, with a focus on increasing the engagement and size of our community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop a monthly social calendar that integrates with other marketing channels throughout the month. • Focusing on metrics to quickly learn and pivot to consistently improve social performance. • Taking a strategic approach to our social media feeds, while being mindful of day-to-day trends so that we can move at the speed of culture with our communication. • Being the first line of communication with our community - Regularly engaging with our fans and responding to their comments and feedback. • Executing postings through our management tool. • Embodying our brand voice to be a passionate representative of our company. • Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns • Observe and report on social media trends within our industry and beyond • Create and distribute original content such as photos, videos, infographics, and blogs

A successful Social Media Manager candidate will have diverse qualifications and technical skills to deliver on the job. Specific Capabilities and Skills required: • Passion for social media, engaging with online communities, and content creation. • Experience with all major social media platforms and common social tools (like Sprout Social and photo/video editing software) • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to embody the brand's voice • You're plugged into the latest social trends and able to adapt to new tools quickly • Possess a strong understanding of the customer mindset, you have empathy and dedication to great customer experiences • Success with both planned and in the moment reactive content creation and distribution. • Proficient with a cell phone camera. • Demonstrated strength in strategic and creative thinking with a consumer lens. • Comfortable managing multiple projects with excellent prioritization and problem-solving abilities • Contagious “can do” attitude and outgoing personality • Analytical skills to review data and act on findings.
