Company is seeking a Hands-on Senior Manager, IT Business Solutions who is self-driven and has a solution-oriented approach to functionally support and enhance Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and related applications. Will be responsible for supporting and maintaining business processes and supporting ERP application users. A strong background and functional knowledge of several of the Oracle modules, particularly core Financials (Payables, AR, GL, Cash Management), Order to Cash and Oracle Supply Chain (Quoting, OM, Shipping, PO, Inventory).

The Sr. Manager, IT Business Solutions is responsible for the development, management, and oversight of solutions & business capabilities involving operational systems such as CRM, ERP, Mobility, and e-Business. In this capacity, he or she serves as a key liaison between business leaders and the IT Applications-Solutions Group aligning the team’s activities with business strategies and priorities. The Sr. Manager, IT Business Solutions owns and drives a culture of continuous improvement across the team, with the sole purpose of delivering a great customer experience.

Essential Functions

A. Support E-Business Suite R12 and related applications (Financials & Order to Cash)

• Manage production bugs queue and prioritization of bug resolution taking inputs from business stakeholders (Finance and Operations users)

• Produce bug ticket trend and analytics on a regular basis

• Continuously improve applications stability by reducing bugs, doing root cause analysis of issues and improving speed of screen and batch jobs

• Identify, design and implement creative business solutions to continually improve business processes

• Create and deliver presentations on functional concepts with financials (AP, AR, GL, Cash Management) and Order to Cash (Quoting, Order Management & Shipping, Inventory, Procurement) modules, project work plans, delivery approach, milestones, and results to stakeholders.

• Prioritize and solution Oracle ERP and related applications enhancements including upgrades, building integrations with other applications and trading partners involving Oracle Financials and Order to Cash business processes.

B. Develop & sustain a culture of delivering a ‘great customer experience’

• Partner with cross functional IT Teams in delivering a ‘great customer experience’ across business applications

• Ensure that everything the team does starts with understanding how customers define success

• Reward and promote the behaviors which help sustain a culture of ‘great customer experience’

C. Align team’s activities with business strategies and priorities

• Understand business strategies and priorities

• Manage resources (people, time, and budget) to align with business priorities

• Develop sustainable applications portfolio which supports long-term needs of the business

D. Partner with business stakeholders in developing optimal solutions

• Actively collaborate with stakeholders in enhancing business processes and applications as well as driving out waste

• Engage team in selecting cloud based solutions as well as developing optimal in house solutions and ‘smart automation’

E. Coach and develop people to develop a high performing team

• Relentless focus on talent management and talent development - improving individual team members’ skills, especially soft skills

• Review & nurture talent on a continual basis and develop high-performing team and culture

Type of Required Experience:


• Min. of three full life-cycle implementation experience on ERP or CRM systems

• Significant experience delivering both cloud based and in-house solutions

• 5 years of experience managing teams, and individuals

• Strong project management skills with 8+ years of experience

• Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills

Additional/Preferred Experience:

• Continuous Improvement project experience
