Summary/Objective 

The position, based at our San Carlos, CA Headquarters or remotely, reports to the VP of Sales and will support the Sales representatives as they build commercial relationships with large self-insured employers and health plans in the assigned territory.  The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will assist in the identification of key decision makers in targeted accounts, preparing briefs on the wellness and smoking cessation programs of the target accounts and for securing new meetings with those decision-makers.  The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for generating new opportunities and helping drive pipeline growth for the Sales team.  This is a challenging role that will develop critical, foundational skills that will help prepare the individual for a successful career in sales and open up new opportunities over time.

  • Partner with Sales team to build demand, identify, and qualify leads.
  • Organize a territory penetration plan to ensure appropriate coverage of all prospects, customers, and opportunities.
  • Outreach to benefits leaders and decision-makers to schedule calls and meetings for the Sales team.
  • Use sales and marketing automation tools to bring new opportunities to the sales pipeline.
  • Achieve assigned targets for activity, including outbound calls made, new prospects identified, and new meetings scheduled
  • Provide market feedback on competitive activity, pricing, and other industry trends.
  • Participate in company activities in a positive and supportive manner.
  • Contribute the company culture by embracing and enhancing company ideals.

Required Education and Experience

  • 6+ months of experience in a sales position.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Must maintain current knowledge of industry trends.

Range for this position is $55k-$60k + bonus/commission
