AVP/VP Director of Marketing

The Pittsfield Cooperative Bank is looking for a dynamic marketing professional to oversee all advertising and marketing efforts of the Bank, in Pittsfield, MA.

Reporting to the Executive Vice President & CFO, the Director of Marketing is responsible for organizing and implementing all marketing and public relations activity including but not limited to advertising, direct marketing, digital marketing, events and community involvement, charitable contributions, sponsorship and brand-cause marketing. The Director of Marketing will collaborate with department heads to develop short and long term goals for the Bank's marketing and advertising functions.

The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of all types of advertising channels; print and radio as well as be experienced in digital marketing and social media campaigns. They should have familiarity with market research and analysis as well as knowledge of financial institution policies and procedures. Exemplary communication skills are required. A bachelor's degree and experience in a marketing department for a financial institution or similar organization are preferred but not required.
