Hard working and very smart aerospace or mechanical engineering student intern needed to support hands-on programs at Pioneer Astronautics to help develop technologies needed for the exploration and development of space. Must know CAD, computer simulation codes, and be good with hand tools, power tools, machine tools, and electrical work. Experience doing lab work is a big plus. Ideal candidate would be someone who not only has the required skills but is passionate about the human future in space and wants to be part of one of the teams working to make it happen.
Our projects have involved many areas of space technology, including rocket propulsion, in-situ resource utilization, high altitude balloon systems, and life support.
We are a very creative team, committed to the exploration and development of space. Our work is always interesting.
