As a Systems Engineer, you will be expected to manage several customers’ IT infrastructure as well as Pinnacle’s management systems (i.e. monitoring and configuration management tools). Managed technologies supported by this role will include storage (SAN), data networking, and other supporting technologies. Provide services to customers including proactive activities to maintain and improve the customer’s infrastructure. Provide escalated support (via Service Desk) for customer reported support issues (Tier 2 and some Tier 3). Participate with the Project Team for collaborative activities on projects relative to the Systems Engineer as the primary customer assigned engineer.

Systems Engineer Required Qualifications & Skills:
Two years’ experience in an IT infrastructure position
Exceptional customer service skills and professional written/verbal communication
Broad and deep understanding of datacenter and IT infrastructure concepts
Experience with one or more monitoring systems
Experience managing routers and switches (CCNA level)
Experience working with backup systems
Experience working with firewalls and configuring access rules, VPN connections, etc.
Strong documentation skills and the ability to identify repeatable processes that should be documented for future use by other team members.
Ability to work through after hours change windows as necessary for customer patches and upgrades.
Ability to work flexible schedule.
MCSA in Windows Server 2012
At least one vendor specialty (HP/Cisco Networking, Meraki, MSCA in Office 365, SonicWALL, Datto, VMware VCP, etc.)
