Mission: The VP of Residential Care serves as the Residential Treatment Centers (including PHP/IOP) key stakeholder, responsible for the day to day operations of multi-state, multi-site, facilities. Must demonstrate experience in managing key functions in a behavioral health residential system required, including staff and human resources, marketing and growth initiatives, state and accreditation compliance, finance management, utilization and admission flow.
Operations: Must be able to create strong teams and work independently.
Assures compliance of the program with CARF, Division of Addictions, and County Standards to include confidential regulations in accordance with state and federal laws.
Assures the monitoring and daily flow of multiple programs and addresses adaptations in accordance to the needs of the population we serve including staff schedule and all program schedules.
Ensures the development, implementation, and enforcement of all policies and procedures, including patient rights.
Establishing and maintaining liaison relationships and communication with facility staff and services, with support services and community resources, and with patients.
Participating in the quality assurance program for patient care and staff performance.
Planning for, and administration of, the managerial, operational, fiscal, and reporting components of multi-state, multi-site facilities.
Ensuring that all personnel are assigned duties based upon their education, training, competencies, and job descriptions.
Assess the needs of the participants through outcome surveys, suggestions and meetings to assure consistent, quality care for the population we serve to include follow-up with adjustments of the development of the programs.
Ensuring the provision of staff orientation and staff education
Directly communicate to the Chief Operating Officer and administrative staff and follow up with periodic updates to address immediate concerns and approval of all administrative decisions that affect personnel and the program.
Works closely with Clinical Administration, ensuring clinical delivery is in accordance with established guidelines and program philosophy.
Team Based Approach:
Operate with a holistic business perspective that includes a thorough understanding of all working operational departments within multi-state, multi-site facilities.
Working in concert with PTC Finance, Accounting, IT, and HR, to meet and exceed key organizational goals.
Key Stakeholder Relationships:
Develop on-going metrics to measure the key performance indicators of the organization.
Course correct when required using the Team, consultants, and other resources as needed.
Develops productive relationships with all internal partners (HR, Marketing, Development, and Finance).
Continue to develop the downstream continuum of care strategy to include expanded PHP/IOP services.
Execute on expansion and growth strategies to include new residential programs (e.g.: Martinsville, Indiana).
Work closely with call center to improve overall admissions process and reduce client no show rates.
Hiring: Understand the hiring requirements & shows ability to focus on getting it right from the start in a new site.
Identifies, attracts, and retains top talent.
Design new employee and ongoing policies and procedures.
Work with the Team to develop operational training programs.
Optimize sourcing, selection, and retention of facility personnel.
Meet and exceed onboarding compliance goals, ensuring that all new hires are given a robust onboarding experience and are properly communicated with.
Ensure that the facilities are operating with fiscal responsibility by collecting all necessary out of pocket obligations of patients.
Maintain patient milieu to minimize medically and clinically inappropriate discharges and to ensure patient engagement and patient experience.
Focusing on employee engagement to reduce turnover and maintain a healthy organizational culture.
Meet and exceed facilities financial budgeted goals.
Required education and experience:
The Group Executive Director has, at a minimum, a Master's degree and two years of full-time or full-time equivalent, administrative or supervisory experience in multi-state, multi-site, licensed substance use disorders treatment facilities.
Individuals who do not meet the qualifications in above must have a Bachelor's degree and five years of full-time, or full-time equivalent, administrative or supervisory experience in a licensed multi-state, multi-site, substance use disorders treatment facilities.
