POSITION SUMMARY:

Pine Gate Renewables, is seeking a Project Coordinator that is excited about working in a dynamic environment in the renewable energy industry. The Project Coordinator is responsible for effectively developing prospective solar sites. He or she will work alongside our New Markets and Development Operations teams to successfully develop new utility-scale solar farms in different markets across the United States. The Project Coordinator will assist the team in market research, landowner relations, marketing, and early stage project development.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop, implement and track opportunity pipeline
  • Actively participate in direct marketing and landowner outreach to increase company’s project pipeline
  • Ability to coordinate and manage complicated sales and permitting processes
  • Originate projects through initial discussions with landowners & assist in the execution of lease and purchase contracts
  • Coordinate & manage projects throughout their lifecycle including zoning, finance, utility interconnection, environmental and regulatory processes
  • Evaluate & screen properties for buildable land with suitable utility infrastructure and zoning
  • Oversee marketing campaigns to create new landowner opportunities.
  • Develop standard files, tools and report templates for solar projects.
  • Facilitate gathering of materials and data for various projects and reports; write summaries of project findings as requested
  • Conduct independent research with little or no supervision
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Earth Pro, Outlook, and Salesforce
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback and make corrective changes

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMAND:

  • May require lifting/carrying items up to 30 pounds.
  • Travel up to 15%.
  • Position works in an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit/stand at a desk and utilize a computer, for extended periods of time.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of (1) year experience customer service, sales and/or and marketing
