The Pine Gate Renewables Business Engagement team acts as the trusted partner to drive organization-wide productivity through the use of innovative technologies and process simplification. The Business Process Senior Manager will be paired with the Chief Development Officer’s team to build solid working relationships with all levels of their organization and bring business needs back to the broader Technology team to drive solutions through to completion. As the CDO’s trusted partner, they will demonstrate a solid understanding of their business, and communicate the value brought to their team from the entire Technology organization.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
  • Managing Project Development Team through implementation of technology and resources that support business process.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and senior level leadership to drive business outcomes through identification, design, and improvement and execution of business solutions.
  • Develop and present strategic solutions for the execution of business initiatives.
  • Create, implement, and manage resources that optimize processes & improve data quality.
  • Support Executive and Team Leadership to create and implement training and training documentation in business processes and systems.
  • Deliver Innovative business process solutions that capitalize on technology & increase efficiency.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to streamline business strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Data and Analytics team to establish reporting that meets business process needs and strategic business targets.
  • Oversee process and system requests to optimize the business workflows.
  • Facilitate cross departmental communications with leadership to ensure process and system overlaps effectively executed in system development.
  • Direct change management communications to responsible business unit and organization as needed.
  • Support and supervise staff with growing team needs.
Must-Haves
  • 2+ years of Solar Development experience
  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience translating business and technical requirements
  • Excellent communication and planning skills with a history of developing effective relationships with business, technical staff, and executive management.
  • Ability to align efforts with strategic customer objectives.
  • Ability to deliver results in a project-based environment.
  • Successful ability to manage conflict with positive results and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to comfortably work in a fast paced, often ambiguous, and event driven environment.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders, negotiate scope, and clarify priorities.
  • Ability to manage teams and apply standard project management methodologies.
  • Well organized, independent, self-starter
  • Ability to create a team vision and motivate the team to achieve a common goal.
  • Ability to recognize and promote team member development and career growth.
  • Solar Development Project Management experience preferred.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum Methodology preferred.
Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Technology, or another business-related field.
  • Working Environment and Physical Demand
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time if remote to AVL Headquarters

Requirements
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Minimum 2 years of Solar Development experience
Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis experience translating business and technical requirements
This job requires prior utility-scale Solar Development experience. Please confirm your resume will show a minimum of 2 years experience in this area.
