Position Summary: The Clinical Supervisorin collaboration with the Director is responsible for the continuous safeoperation of the assigned department including all aspects of patient care,staffing, fiscal responsibility and strategic goals of the unit.Is a designated leader responsible forimplementation, supervision, and evaluation of safe patient care whilepromoting a safe environment for employees, families, and visitors. TheClinical Supervisor maintains clinical and professional competency asappropriate to the ages, developmental stages, and special needs of thepopulation. Minimum Education:Associates degree in Nursing required.
MinimumExperience:2-3 years of Acute Care orcomparable experience with demonstrated leadership ability preferred.
RequiredCertifications/Registrations/Licenses:Avalid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside isrequired.Should you hold a RN licensefrom another Compact state, you are required to apply for and obtain aMulti-State RN License from the state in which you residewithin 30 days.American HeartAssociation BLS CPR required.Othercertifications required are determined by specific unit and is requiredwithin orientation period.
