Job Description

Job Overview:

A Low Voltage Technician provides infrastructure support including: Installation, termination, testing, labeling, and decommissioning of Power, CAT5 fiber optic cabling and patch systems for residential communities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and establish collaborative partnerships with clients, corporate teams, and onsite community teams to install various security systems
  • Oversee and respond to various client needs such as security and alarm wiring projects, cable installation, fiber optic cabling, and CAT 5 wiring
  • Perform preventative maintenance on cameras, monitors, or other hardware
  • Troubleshoot miscellaneous calbing and connectivity
  • Determine how to best install components and wiring based on reading blue prints

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong 2+ years experience installing alarm systems, cable installation, and CAT5 fiber optic cables
  • Working knowledge of critical low voltage systems in residential communities
  • Ability to work independtly to troubleshoot and repair critical low voltage systems
  • Certified in electrical safety procedures
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
