The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business development, sales strategy execution, and a deep understanding of the wireline telecommunications market.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to secure wireline projects from Comcast, AT&T, VZW, and other potential clients in the telecommunications industry
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase revenue and market share in the wireline telecommunications market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within targeted companies
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and project management, to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's products and services
- Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify new business opportunities and potential clients
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients to showcase the company's capabilities and value proposition
- Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the company's CRM system
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on wireline projects
- Proven track record of successfully securing new business, meeting or exceeding revenue targets, and increasing market share in the wireline telecommunications market
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills with leading telecommunications companies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
