We are seeking a resourceful, team-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage all aspects of shipping routes and delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities.
- Organizing and managing warehouse inventory, storage, plot routes, transportation and process shipments.
- Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures including selecting carriers and negotiating contracts and rates.
- Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders.
- Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
- Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.
- Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
- Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and retailers.
- Collaborating with Customer Relations to meet customer needs.
- Working with Shipping & Receiving team to meet company goals.
- Answering customer queries. Responding to any issues or complaints.
- Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
- Ensure operations adhere to laws, guidelines and ISO requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Degree in business administration, logistics or related field preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in logistics management required.
- Working knowledge of legal regulations and ISO requirements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
- Good management and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to work 100% onsite in our Manufacturing Facility in Milwaukee, WI.
- US Work Authorization is required
