Account Manager / Sales Professional

ABOUT PHIGENICS
Founded in 2004, we provide water management programs and services to improve the safety
and optimize the efficiency of building water systems. We pride ourselves on being the only
independent provider of ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 188-aligned and Centers for Medicare and
Medicaid Services (CMS) S&C 17-30-aligned water management programs. Our core purpose is to help facility managers optimize the total cost of their water systems by improving safety and
efficiency. Our clients include a diverse mix of industry leaders in healthcare, hospitality,
government, higher education, retail, and manufacturing. We do not sell water treatment
chemicals and are not biased toward any treatment technology or supplier.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ACCOUNT MANAGER / SALES PROFESSIONAL
As an Account Manager / Sales Professional, you manage all sales activities in the region. You are
a "go-getter" who serves as the liaison for our clients and our programs. Using your ability to
establish a rapport quickly, you acquire new clients. You also support existing clients with all
needs and forecasts. Your work is mostly remote and you enjoy traveling as needed to client
locations.


As you listen to the needs of each organization, you effectively develop and implement
comprehensive water management programs (WMP) for safety and efficiency. You organize and
facilitate water management team meetings for customers. You travel to client sites in the region,
hold meetings, conduct audits, service equipment, and collect water samples. Additionally, you
work autonomously in many different situations and are responsible for all the sales, design, implementation, and maintenance of services for various clients. Trust is the cornerstone of your
business.


Though you love interacting with people, you are also knowledgeable and goal-oriented. Utilizing
your technical knowledge, you service client accounts as the technical expert in the delivery of
our company's services. Highly motivated, you are happy to accept feedback in order to
continually improve. Your ability to educate facility managers and business owners on the
technical details as well as identify, deliver, and communicate value is key to your success in this
role. You get great satisfaction out of helping companies improve the safety of their water

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ACCOUNT MANAGER / SALES PROFESSIONAL
 1 year or more of water-related experience working in commercial and industrial markets
 Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education
 Hazard analysis critical control point (HACCP) certification
 Water treatment operator license


Education in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering,
chemistry, biochemistry, public health, or microbiology is preferred. Do you have strong
communication and interpersonal skills? Are you self-motivated and goal-oriented? Do you
communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally? If yes, you might just be perfect for this
position!

WORK SCHEDULE FOR AN ACCOUNT MANAGER / SALES PROFESSIONAL
This position is full-time and mostly remote. You will drive to meet with clients in the area. This
travel will be around 50% of the time.
