Engineer, Project Manager
The Project Engineer is responsible for providing technical solutions of business value through the development and execution of equipment related capital projects. The Project Engineer supports the enhancement of equipment-based systems in Pharmavite’s West Coast manufacturing and packaging facilities. The Project Engineer reports to the Manager, Site Engineering.
Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:
Lead the identification and business case development of equipment capital projects and equipment / system improvement opportunities for inclusion into the sites capital plans
Lead the development and implementation of the sites tactical capital projects utilizing Pharmavite’s Project Management Process
Lead equipment Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and equipment commissioning, supports equipment verification / qualification
Provide equipment continuous improvement support and subject matter expertise, and is the technical representative for larger capital projects
Work to drive continuous improvement through manufacturing equipment and work center modification. If required leverages new technologies and novel technical solutions to drive improvement through asset creation or existing asset modification.

Critical Success Factors
You’ll be most successful in this role if you:
Lead teams to deliver tactical capital projects with excellence, utilizing a structured capital project methodology and ensuring robust stakeholder collaboration and input
Investigate, assess and implement new manufacturing / packaging technologies or new novel solutions providing business value to Pharmavite
Ability to assess manufacturing and packaging equipment & systems, drive technical improvements providing business value
Collaborate with operations and other functions to define opportunities for equipment / system improvement
Demonstrate a problem solving capability leveraging tools and equipment expertise
Capabilities & Skills Required
In order to take on these challenges, you’ll need to have:
Ability to lead project teams, as well as be part of a project team
Knowledge and experience in managing multiple projects, preferably capital projects
Understanding of equipment operation with the ability to build technical mastery for equipment in the designated area/s of responsibility
Engineering degree preferred or 5 years experience in a technical role in a manufacturing environment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience with equipment control systems would be a plus
