The Front-End Operations Manager will partner with the Executive Director to establish and maintain a best in class pharmacy operation supporting Order Entry and Billing Team:

· Work closely with Order Entry Supervisor ensuring adequate staffing, support, and education of order entry/control team

· Work closely with Billing Supervisor ensuring billing task are completed timely and accurately including daily adjudication/census/audit reports, prior authorizations, monthly facility /private pay billing, accounts receivable support, and continues staff training/development

· Actively involved in paper medical records ensuring facility paperwork accurately printed and delivered to facility in timely manner

· Monthly onsite pharmacist consultant/back up pharmacists for daily new admit reviews

· Proactively address customer concerns that are identified during daily operations

Essential Functions:

Ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations related to the operation of the pharmacy:

· Adequate record keeping

· Employee registration with the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy and assuring proper renewal of all technician licensure

· Co-Lead quarterly QA meeting to review medication errors and proposed process of improving workflow to reduce errors

· Develop and Maintain environment of continuous quality improvement

· Collaborate with department managers/Executive Director to develop, communicate, and train staff on new customer startups, pharmacy systems, process, and procedures

· Partner with payroll / benefits coordinator ensuring proper HR processes are followed

· Be a positive role model leading, motivating, mentoring peers and staff

· Provide coaching, counseling, and discipline for team

· Conduct Annual Review
