SUMMARY
This position is responsible for oversight and management of all regional based compute and storage solutions. This will include but not limited to hands-on support of virtual servers, storage, cloud infrastructure, and HA/DR. The role is expected to provide input on infrastructure strategy pertaining to its area of expertise and collaborate with the global and local IT teams.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
No direct reports, but will provide guidance to lower level IT staff and assist with training.
Duties:
- Implement and manage a monitoring and alerting solution for all services within scope of the role
- Work with global team to recommend and execute a cloud-based backup/recovery process and high-availability solutions in accordance to enterprise standards.
- Meet with global infrastructure team to ensure understanding and adherence to global standards.
- Provide thought leadership and assist with execution of migration of legacy hardware/software to Azure tenant.
- Work with infrastructure teams to build and guide Azure landscapes to create redundant and scalable virtual environments.
- Respond to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors to provide technical assistance and support as it relates to the network and its components.
- Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 desktop support and assistance to other IT Team members
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of racks, UPSs and other equipment in all telecom and server room locations
- Participate in IT On-call duties and assignments
- Work with local, global and exterior consultant IT groups in order to meet timing and budgets for projects.
- Delegates, manages and holds the region accountable to achieve targets.
- Supports and adheres to all company management systems including ISO-9000, ISO 14001, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

General Qualifications
In depth knowledge of disk and networking and other shared resource services. Must have experience with storage hardware architectures, high-level programming, distributed file systems, network protocols and data storage applications.Experience with PRTG or Nagios is a plus
Education and/or Experience
Requires B.S. degree in Information Technology or related field, as well as at least 5 years of IT experience in an operational environment; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Must be fluent in English. Must be able to deliver information to employees at all levels of the organization in a clear and concise manner, both verbal and written.
Mathematical Skills
Strong knowledge of business math required.
Reasoning Ability
Must be able to multi task and operate in a fast paced environment while maintaining a disciplined approach to oversee employer and customers’ needs. Work assignments may be both analytical and technical. Must be able to solve both practical and complex problems and deal with a variety of factors.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid driver’s license required.
TOOLS AND/OR EQUIPMENT
This position uses a computer extensively with demonstrated abilities in the use of Microsoft products as well as other types of software and office equipment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position may work in various environments including office, factory or home settings. Employees who choose to work from home are expected to comply with all company requirements for core work hours or in-person attendance at company meetings or events. The person in this job must be able to travel by air and drive to regional locations approximately 10 – 20% of the time.
