A PetWow veterinary technician, sometimes also referred to as a veterinary assistant or veterinary nurse, will assist veterinarians during patient exams, process laboratory samples, carry out common pet procedures, and depending upon skill level, assist in veterinary surgery and dentistry. Moreover, for those with ambition and interest, we are happy to provide additional on-the-job training which can increase your range of competencies - and your pay!
