Sales Support Specialist – Deer Park, IL

$23 - $25/Hour + bonus + full benefits

We are looking for a Sales Support Specialist to be the first line of contact for our outside sales team. You will be responsible for entering customer orders, invoicing, and ensuring our salespeople can do their job in the field as efficiently as possible. Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide pre-sales and/or post-sales operational support
  • Manage order fulfillment
  • Research customer or order inquiries and deliver solutions working cross-functionally to resolve
  • Liaises between the customer/partner and sales organization
  • Focuses on delivering a positive customer or partner experience
  • Facilitates product and sales information flow
  • Drives sales operations process improvements
  • Serves as interface for order status and handles order escalation and SKU management
  • May serve as primary interfaces with other internal functions, based on BU and/or regional requirements
  • May be responsible for influencing sales behavior and capabilities
  • Additional support tasks as required


  • 6 months experience in a corporate setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus, but not required
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
