Product Support & Customer Relations Specialist – Palatine, IL

  • Demonstrated ability to compose correspondence and documents, which often require an understanding of industry-specific subject matter, company standards and/or procedural guidelines
  • The ability to take charge of all routine email/telephone correspondence and independently determine whether the personal attention of the executive is required
  • The want to grow into an Team Lead/Manager role

Responsibilities -

Product Support & Customer Relations

  • Learn product lines and attend local tradeshows 1-2 times per year
  • Assist customers via phone and email with basic troubleshooting, passing call to technicians when necessary
  • Compose customer relations mailers and emails
  • Coordinate email marketing campaigns
  • Assist customer service by taking orders over the phone

Database & Customer Relations

  • Learn our CRM databases for our US and Canadian offices
  • Utilize integrated program for data management
  • New customer data entry
  • Importing and exporting customer data
  • Maintenance of consistency and clean data
  • Tracking marketing projects for effectiveness

Qualifications -

  • 3+ years of experience with order entry/customer service, B2B ideal
  • Experience working with a technical product or providing basic troubleshooting assistance to customers
  • Pluses for experience working with… SAP Business One, Sage CRM, Salesforce, Microsoft CRM, or any other web-based CRM programs
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and positive enthusiastic attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Open to other tasks and duties as assigned
