Job Description: Marketing Manager – SaaS, New ProductWhat cool buzzwords shall we throw out? eCommerce, FinTech, SaaS – we have it all. But more than that, we have a great team, a proven method, and an exciting new product we are launching in Q1 2022.At Persolvent, we process payments and create award-winning software that give our clients in multiple industries easy and innovative payment solutions.Where do you come in? We need a full-stack marketer who loves pioneering new systems and implementing big plans. You’ll have creative runway as you develop, implement, and execute strategic marketing plans for our product brands.Your day-to-day tasks include managing and coordinating inbound and outbound marketing campaigns, coordinating with external resources to create assets and leading market research efforts on target client groups. You’ll be a driver of brand development, product-first marketing, and lead generation. You will be working with a small, smart, tight-knit team including Sales, Product and Technology and will report directly to the President of the company. We have the energy and flexibility of a start-up with the stability of having done this before.To be successful and happy in this role, you should be someone excited about starting a marketing department from the ground up. You should be a doer, creator, explorer, very detailed and energetic with a wide range of experiences, preferably in SaaS marketing. You should have at least three years of experience and be looking for autonomy, opportunity and like the tasks laid out below. You will be a driver, able to be entrusted with larger projects where you figure out the details. You’ll be participating in high level meetings, but also managing the finer details of marketing campaigns.We are open to you working remotely, but prioritize applicants in MN. There is up to 10% travel for this role.Marketing Manager Role Responsibilities:1. Inbound marketing campaign managementImplement, track, and adjust an ongoing inbound marketing strategy for our products via web and social.Manage the process of crafting high-quality content including thought leadership that organically attracts our target market.2. Direct outbound campaign management.Implement, track, and adjust the results of direct outbound lead generation marketing campaigns.Manage HubSpot, including database management, pipeline development, workflows, scorecard reporting.3. Brand development – Persolvent and all future (non-Eleyo) brands.Assist internal team in developing overall business strategy.Identify and research target client group.Develop product name, logo, tagline, brand voice, market positioning and messaging strategy.Build marketing toolkit. Guide development of product website.Listen to voice of the customer/raving fans. Advise on new products, features, & enhancements.Manage marketing budget.4. Lead, Coach and Hold Accountable – marketing team as well as all third-party resources.Develop and/or manage external resources to create written, video, and visual content, including ongoing PR, social media and product website content.Own the conference and events calendar, overseeing all activities and internal resources. Events marketing is anticipated to be a smaller part of the role and prior experience is not required.5.
