Remote Logistics and Customer Service Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced logistics coordinator to join our team and grow with the company. This position offers growth in many areas as the right individual learns the company and has an interest in following a specific path.

Our main company is in rubber reclamation. We have our own logistics arm which you will primarily work in. We are a distributed workforce allowing you to work remotely. This job is best suited for someone in central time however it is not a requirement. Interviews will be held in Baton Rouge, LA. Training will be conducted at an office in or near the Baton Rouge area and could take 1-2 weeks. You may be required to meet in person occasionally.

Advancement could require reporting to a central location in the future however in the current capacity you’ll be able to work anywhere you have a strong internet and phone connection.

Skills required:

· Strong organization skills

· Logistics Experience is preferred

· Strong Attention to Detail( this is extremely important as mistakes are extremely costly in our industry and your main focus is to make sure they do not happen. You are not going to be able to fake it in this role.)

· Strong Communication Skills

· Not Afraid of Technology

This is not a 9-5 job. Weekends will be light duty but you will be expected to be up early week days and make sure all loads are set for the day, during normal North American business hours. After hours emergencies are rare however you will have a phone that you are responsible to answer outside normal business hours at time.

General responsibilities:

Manage approximately 2000 loads annually. Your responsibility will be to route and communicate with customers, drivers, and other parties

Manage inventory

Insure billing codes are properly delivered and payments are properly routed to accounting, send bills in to be paid.

Solve issues with deliveries and make sure customer is satisfied

Manage Maintenance and expenses on trailers

Input data into spreadsheets for tracking metrics

Manage Daily Customer Communication

Handle billing issues with customers

Handle all contracts and leases with providers

Manage all 3rd party brokers and make sure paperwork is valid

Handle technical issues with technical team

Handle all insurance

Assist Owner as needed
