As a Project Coordinator or Project Engineer at Perini Management Services, you will have the opportunity to:

Responsibilities

• Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule
• Coordinate with and assist in the management of the project designer of record during the design phase of our design/build projects
• Provide draft design document review prior to submission to the client
• Provide technical support for construction effort including participation in construction planning and design; interpretation of design; application of construction methods; resolution and documentation of design conflicts; constructability reviews, review of product data submittals
• Develop, implement, and administer project engineering procedures and other work controlling documents.
• Represent company, project and/or department during A/E, client, and project management meetings
• Interface with all on-site departments as required to resolve problems, ensure quality of construction, etc. in support of overall project schedule
• Provide support on preconstruction activities, including subcontractors, purchase orders and procurement
• Provide support for post-design construction submittals and RFI's

Requirements

• Project Coordinator
  • Four-year construction related degree (Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management) or equivalent technical training and related field experience.
  • 0 or more years of engineering or construction experience.
  • Interest in learning and developing essential skills to build a career in construction management.

• Project Engineer
  • Four-year construction related degree (Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management) or equivalent technical training and related field experience.
  • 3 or more years of engineering or construction experience.
  • International experience a plus. Design-Build Experience is a plus.

• Working knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, etc
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer literacy.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or AutoCAD a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Training will be provided to assist in the growth of this position.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance a plus.
• Interest in travel and potential relocation to out-of-state and/or overseas project locations.

Position based in our Home Office in Framingham, MA with some domestic and overseas travel to be expected.
