Inside Account Manager

Pepperl+Fuchs is a pioneer and innovator of industrial sensors for factory automation. As one of our Inside Account Managers you'll deliver a high level of service and build relationships with manufacturers while developing a deep understanding of your customers’ processes. You'll offer customized solutions using the best products and technology on the market today. As an Inside Account Manager you'll sell these solutions to existing named accounts within a geographic territory and collaborate with other Pepperl+Fuchs teams.

Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Building relationships with new and existing customers by the likes of product presentations, quoting, quote follow up, delivery/delivery updates, and forecasting future needs.
  • Growth of new and existing accounts within the territory.
  • Working directly with customers as well as supporting our distribution channel at select accounts.
  • Identifying and processing sales opportunities through the sales cycle using our CRM.
  • High level of comfort with video sales calls.
  • Collaborating with our local sales team and field application engineers.
  • Assist outside Account Managers on calls, quote requests, product availability, and substitutions as needed.
  • Learn new products, solutions and technologies as they become available.
  • Enhancing application knowledge and customer relationships with video calls and occasional on-site customer visits.
  • Presenting product solutions to solve customers’ applications.

The Background You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with technical sales.
  • Capability to connect with customers digitally.
  • Desire to grow professionally.
